Supplier Quality Assurance

The finest sources begin with the strictest standards.

Every supplier is qualified through our on-site factory audit — a 92-checkpoint inspection built on national food safety standards, GMP and HACCP principles, and carried out by our own quality team.

How suppliers are qualified

From paperwork to production line

Certificates are where our audit starts, not where it ends. Approval is only granted after our auditors have inspected the factory in person.

Step 1
Document review

Business and production licenses, food safety certifications and raw material documentation are verified at the source.

Step 2
On-site factory audit

Our quality team walks the production floor and inspects 92 checkpoints — from incoming raw materials to finished-product testing.

Step 3
Weighted scoring

Every finding is documented and scored on a 100-point scale, with deductions weighted by severity.

Step 4
Approval decision

Suppliers are approved, sent back with mandatory corrective actions, or rejected. Re-audits verify that corrections hold.

The knockout rule: nine criteria carry zero tolerance. A single failure — a falsified record, an invalid license, a non-compliant additive — ends the audit immediately, regardless of how the supplier scores everywhere else.

What we inspect

Eight areas, checkpoint by checkpoint

Beyond the nine zero-tolerance criteria, every audit works through eight operational areas of the factory.

Factory environment & facilities

Site location, workshop zoning, water quality, ventilation, drainage and equipment sanitation.

Personnel & hygiene
13 checkpoints

Health certification, food safety training, gowning and handwashing discipline for every worker.

Quality systems
14 checkpoints

HACCP plans, deviation handling, allergen and GMO management, traceability drills and recall readiness.

Laboratory & testing
9 checkpoints

Raw material, in-process and finished-product testing, benchmarked against national standard methods.

Source control
4 checkpoints

Qualified-supplier vetting and fully documented raw material procurement and acceptance.

Process control
6 checkpoints

Critical control point monitoring, cross-contamination prevention and food-safe packaging on the line.

Storage & transportation
6 checkpoints

Cold chain integrity, first-in-first-out warehousing and strict segregation of rejected goods.

Pest control
5 checkpoints

Physical barriers, mapped trap layouts and fully documented, food-safe control programs.

The nine knockouts

Where there is no partial credit

These nine criteria are pass or fail. There is no score high enough elsewhere to offset failing one of them.

  1. Valid business license covering supplied items
  2. Valid production license matching site and products
  3. Claimed certifications verified at source
  4. Customs registration for export raw materials
  5. Authentic records — no falsified data, ever
  6. Additives within legal scope and limits
  7. Production layout free of uncontrolled risk
  8. GMO compliance to customer requirements
  9. Accurate, signed raw material documentation
